Shameful Verses
Description
In honor of National Poetry Month, we welcome Manchester Poet Laureate Nadia Sims for a session on navigating shame, truth, and the art of confession through poetry. Sims will be discussing sections and poems from her collections “A Soft Place to Land”, “We Know the Dark”, and her newly released collection “Apostle, Interrupted”. Copies of Sims’ poetry will be available for purchase and signing at the event. No registration required for this free event for adults.
